ANC WELCOMES OVER 100 MEMBERS FROM DA, COPE, AGANG AND EFF
14/04/2014
Cde Dakota Legoete

On Saturday, 12 April 2014, the 2nd phase of the Setsokotsane Election programme saw the reception of over 100 members from the Democratic Alliance (DA), Agang, Congress of the People (COPE) and Economic Freedom Front (EFF) in Ward 4 of Kopela Village in the Tswaing Local Municipality; who were gracefully welcomed by the African National Congress (ANC) in the North West Province, led by the Provincial Chairperson, Cde Supra Mahumapelo.

The recent reception bares testimony that the ANC lives and still leads. More than 700 members clothed in the ANC paraphilia chanted slogans together with the leadership of the ANC in honouring their new membership and took a revolutionary stand to be part of an ongoing democratic movement led by the African National Congress.

Despite the many reasons mentioned by members from the several political parties which were based on grounds that would not provide for a harmonious environment to work in, the ANC accorded the new members in producing a fearless and humble cadre that would assist the ANC towards a socio-economic and continued democratic society.

Today, 14 April 2014, the ANC again welcomed Ms. Emily Khumalo from Ward 11, Mogogela village in Moretele to the ANC, her dedication and courage will form part of a beat that will add more rhythm to the sound and echoes of the legacy that the late Tata Madiba left for the African National Congress.

As we continue our 2nd phase journey of the Setsokotsane Election Campaign, the commitment and zeal of our volunteers reign on our people, building volumes of hope and loyalty in reminding many of the sacrifices our forefathers made to endure the 20 years of democracy in existence.

For the coming weeks the ANC will continue to win the hearts of masses and prove to its people that their votes were not in vain.

AMANDLA!
