ANC BOKONE BOPHIRIMA STATEMENT OF OFFICIALS MEETING
11/07/2017
Dakota Legoete

Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) Officials of the African National Congress (ANC) in Bokone Bophirima held an ordinary meeting on Monday 10 July 2017 and dealt with issues as follows:

  1. Commended the National Executive Committee (NEC), PEC and all branches of the province for the good conduct and active participation in all the National Policy Conference activities.
  2. ANC Bokone Bophirima province will still pursue its correct stance on challenging the economic throttling of Blacks in general and Africans in particular by White Monopoly Capital.
  3. The Officials condemned the circulation on social media of our open interaction with delegates by Cde Derek Hanekom, who sought to taint that normal engagement as something untoward. We consider Cde Derek’s action a factional behaviour that should be frowned upon.
  4. The Officials have agreed that Bokone Bophirima will now focus on ensuring that branches – through Regional Conferences - are prepared for the 54th National Conference of the ANC.
  5. The ANC in Bokone Bophirima will continue building organisational unity of purpose by holding regular political sessions and Reconciliation, Healing and Renewal (RHR) in all branches.
  6. The ANC in Bokone Bophirima will continue lobbying other provinces for necessary political convergence and uncontested collective of the NEC Officials come the December conference.
